Technical preparation of production
Technical preparation of production (TPP) means detailed technological procedures and activities preceding the production of the ordered component.
Dry sandblasting, wet blasting and finishing are finishing processes consisting in surface treatment of a metal semi-finished product using abrasive particles.
For paint to adhere properly to the painted component, it must be cleaned thoroughly and free of rust and production residues. We achieve this through finishing. During the finishing process, the product is descaled, deburred, cleaned, polished, degreased, and dried.
We use several machines to finish products in our cleaning plant. The first of them is the OS 1A-4A tumbling drum, where we clean components with a maximum weight of 190 kg. But we also have a circular vibrating tumbler R 260 Euro, which can hold semi-finished products weighing up to 375 kg. We also use a circular dryer RT 250 Euro with a maximum batch weight of 40 kg.
Product finishing is an important finishing process. At CENTES we perform finishing in professional machines.
For finishing, we use:
Another important surface pre-treatment before painting is metal blasting. Thanks to this, the workpiece surface is beautifully cleaned, roughened, unified, and further treated. We use various abrasives to blast the workpiece, such as glass balls, white corundum, or ceramics. Each has a different use due to its properties.
The processed component’s dry sandblasting takes place under pressure in sandblasting cabinets. In addition to standard sandblasters for dry sandblasting, as one of two companies in the Czech Republic, CENTES has professional sandblasters for wet sandblasting, which create an amazingly smooth surface.
Blasting is an important chipless technology for metalworking. Dry and wet blasting is used to treat surfaces before painting.

Technical preparation of production (TPP) means detailed technological procedures and activities preceding the production of the ordered component.
Cutting means machining of a metal workpiece using a machine tool. Metal chips are formed during cutting.
Chipless machining methods do not use material removal by mechanical work. Unlike cutting, they produce virtually no chips.
Painting is the final stage of metal surface treatment. In our modern paint shop, we provide powder and wet coating on delivered components.
We do not focus exclusively on metalworking. We also offer these services for our customers so that they have no need to go elsewhere in terms of electrical equipment production and assembly.
We can produce special cutting tools for sheet metal processing on hydraulic or manual presses. All we need is drawings.
