We started as a Technology and Sports Centre. Over the years, thanks to tradition, experience, and professionalism, we changed into CENTES – a modern family engineering company and a major supplier of machined and pressed parts in the Czech Republic and worldwide.

Company history

Our history began in 1991. We provide a comprehensive subcontract of components for automotive and aerospace industries today. We are a medium-sized company. Yet – or perhaps because of that – you can rely on us. We do as we promise. Our customers praise both our references, the simple organisational structure, and the fast and error-free work execution. We will provide a comprehensive subcontract if necessary. We will take care of TPP, cutting and chipless machining, painting, electrical equipment production and assembly, as well as cutting tools and assembly jigs production.

Company certificates

We are a stable company with quality references and, above all, a sound financial policy. Our reliability is evidenced by the highest possible AAA Bisnode and Top Rating® awards according to the Dun & Bradstreet methodology. We observe our Code of Conduct at CENTES since 2002. We do not waste materials and try to minimise our impact on the environment. We also do our best to support employing disabled and disadvantaged people.

Quality and certification

Construction of a new hall

our complex is formed by the stable building of one of the courtyards, after which this part of the city got its name. However, its technical condition has been unsatisfactory for some time. That is why a new, modern hall will soon be built in its place. This space will not only seamlessly connect to the rest of the complex, but it will also further improve the working environment and increase CENTES production capacity. In addition to the work on preparing the new hall, we also strive to do our best to implement the ISO 14001 environmental management system soon.

We have been following the Code of Conduct in our company since 2012. Its main pillars include respect for our country’s laws, respect and trust for superiors and colleagues, equality, maximum customer service, a commitment to confidentiality of internal information, acting in the interests of the company and its reputation, and respect for the environment.

Technical preparation of production

Technical preparation of production (TPP) means detailed technological procedures and activities preceding the production of the ordered component.

Metal cutting

Cutting means machining of a metal workpiece using a machine tool. Metal chips are formed during cutting.

Chipless machining methods do not use material removal by mechanical work. Unlike cutting, they produce virtually no chips.

Painting is the final stage of metal surface treatment. In our modern paint shop, we provide powder and wet coating on delivered components.

We do not focus exclusively on metalworking. We also offer these services for our customers so that they have no need to go elsewhere in terms of electrical equipment production and assembly.

Cutting tools and assembly jigs production

We can produce special cutting tools for sheet metal processing on hydraulic or manual presses. All we need is drawings.
